How it Works
If you smoke 25 cigarettes or fewer a day, use the 2 mg lozenge.
If you smoke more than 25 cigarettes a day, use the 4 mg lozenge.
How to Use
Place the nicotine lozenge in your mouth.
Occasionally move the lozenge from one side of your mouth to the other.
Do not chew or swallow.Repeat step 2 until the lozenge dissolves completely.
DO NOT CHEW OR SWALLOW LOZENGE.
DO NOT USE MORE THAN 15 LOZENGES PER DAY
If the amounts of NICORETTE® Lozenge you are taking do not help you stop smoking, talk with your healthcare provider about using more than one type of nicotine replacement therapy at the same time.
Weeks 1 to 6 | 1 Lozenge every 1 to 2 hours |
Weeks 7 to 9 | 1 Lozenge every 2 to 4 hours |
Weeks 10 to 12 | 1 Lozenge every 4 to 8 hours |
Weeks 13-24 | 1 to 2 lozenges per day if the urge to smoke returns |

Product Details
Sweetened with acesulfame potassium & sucralose
Medicinal Ingredients: Each lozenge contains 2 or 4 mg of nicotine as nicotine resinate.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: acesulfame potassium, flavours, gum acacia, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, mica-based pearlescent pigments, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80, sodium carbonate, sucralose, titanium dioxide, xanthan gum.
DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE: under 18 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding, an occasional or non-smoker, allergic to nicotine or to any of the non-medicinal ingredients in this product.
ASK YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USE IF YOU: have/have had heart, thyroid, circulation, stomach problems, high blood pressure, a history of epilepsy or seizures, or if you are taking insulin or any prescription medicine. In case of overdose get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.
Discontinue use and consult your doctor if irregular heartbeat or chest pain occurs or if severe persistent stomach upset (indigestion, heartburn) develops.
Keep out of reach and sight of children and pets.
Do not use if the blister card has been torn or opened.
